Thursday May 27th – Convention Registration, Layout Operations & Tours:

After registering, those interested in viewing or operating local layouts can explore a number of local model railroads. Operating on some layouts may fulfill requirements toward the NMRA’s “Chief Dispatcher” Award or the OPSIG Achievement Awards.

Friday May 28th – Industry Tours, Informative & Technical Clinics, Show Setup, and Operating Sessions:

Specify in your registration form if you wish to participate in a number of industry tours prior to show setup on Friday afternoon. Otherwise take part in some of the many clinics, covering a wide variety of topics, held at the nearby Irving Field House. Setup will be followed by a catered meet & greet at the show grounds, with additional layout operating sessions later in the evening.

Saturday May 29th – Public Train Show! more Clinics! and Convention Banquet:

Join railfans from near and far for a public accessible train show. The show includes nearly 18000 square feet of operating layouts (Scales HO, N, On30, G and LEGO), photo and model contests, and vendors. Visit the nearby Hampton Inn & Suites to observe and learn from a variety of informative clinics. Registrants are able to convene for an evening dinner banquet at the KV Lions Club, catered by Riverview’s Finest.

Sunday May 30th – Layout Tours:

Before the weekend ends, consider stopping by a number of impressive home railroads for layout viewing.

Convention Banquet

Saturday night, convention registrants are encouraged to attend a banquet, catered by Riverview’s Finest and generously hosted by the Quispamsis Island View Lions Club – less than a 15-minute drive from the convention venue.

The banquet will feature door prizes, as well as awards for the photo and model contest

Dinner will be accompanied by keynote speaker Brad Peters – General Manager of NBM Railways
